- Minimum inside-mount depth: Cordless 2 1/5 inches; Motorized 3 1/2 inches.
- For an inside mount, order the top-rail width at the window-frame width minus 3/8 inch. For an outside mount, the top-rail width matches the ordered width.
- After delivery, install the brackets and hang the shade. Do not alter the lift mechanism on the back, as this may damage the shade or prevent it from operating correctly.
- For stronger room darkening with an outside mount, order the shade 2-4 inches wider than the window opening and allow 8-12 inches above the frame when space permits.
- Custom Roman shades are shipped closed or rolled to protect them in transit. Any light creasing will relax naturally after the shade has been hanging for a short time.
- For routine care, dust gently or wipe the fabric with a clean, soft cloth.
- Gently machine wash or dry clean when deeper cleaning is required. Do not bleach. Steam iron and air dry.
