Refund policy
Argahome curtains pride themselves on their exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail. We are also committed to providing excellent customer service every step of the way.
We kindly remind you that if you encounter any issues with your purchase, please review our return policy and negotiate a resolution with us rather than hastily initiating an order dispute.
This return and refund policy is set forth by VISTAVIEW COMMERCE INC., and Argahome reserves the right of final interpretation. Within the United States only.
We strongly recommend that you carefully review the necessary information, including hanging curtain head styles and the size finder, to ensure your custom curtains meet your needs. We sincerely encourage you to order a sample brochure or swatches before placing your custom curtain order to ensure the texture and color meet your expectations. We generally do not accept returns on custom curtain orders.
Before returning an item, please verify that your item is eligible for return, as some items may be marked “Final Sale” or “No Returns” or subject to other return restrictions. You can find this information in the product-specific sections below so you can review it before purchasing.
- Fabric swatches and sample booklets are not returnable.
- Both curtains and shade are custom-made products. If the products were made according to your original order details and are without any defects, we will not accept returns.
- Custom rods and tracks are non-returnable if they are made to match your original order details.
- If a defective product is shipped due to our negligence, we will provide a refund and return service, and we will cover the return shipping costs.
The following conditions do not qualify for return for Ready-Made or Made-to-Order drapes, blinds and shades.
- Misunderstood the image of the product.
- Items do not fit properly but were made accurately.
- Drapes are too heavy.
- Not the color you wanted.
- Not the quality you wanted. (Consider buying fabric booklets to confirm color and texture.)
- Change of mind / No longer wants it.
- Ordered the wrong item by mistake.
- Wrong size. Tolerance size within +/- 1 inch is treated as industry acceptable. The curtains will be 3-6 inches wider than the purchased width to ensure they effectively cover the entire window.
- Order comes later than expected.
- Item were ordered by mistake.
- Incorrect measurement.
- Color variation due to fabric dye lot that naturally occurs (reasonable color differences are allowed between the sample booklets and the finished drapery).
- Color variation due to adding a liner (compare lined drapes vs unlined).
- Color variation due to adding different liners to the same color curtain.
- Shading rate is not expected.
- Special items do not support returns or exchanges: Clearance,Promotional items.
In these special circumstances, we accept return. If you believe there is something wrong with your product, contact us straightaway with full details of the problem – feel free to send a photo to illustrate the problem by email, quoting your order number. We will of course repair or remake the product to match the original order as quickly as possible, so you will be inconvenienced as little as possible. We will request that the original drapes and shade are returned to us.
- We made wrong items.
- Wrong liner type used.
- Not as described.
Ready-to-ship hardwares and Ready-Made that can be returned or refunded within 30 days of receiving must meet both of the following conditions:
- Faulty items damaged/broken or in the incorrect size/color upon arrival.
- Items are unused, drapery with tags and unaltered.
Return Window:
30 Days from date of delivery. Refund Method: Original payment method. Restocking Fee: No (for defective items) / 30% (for mid-production cancellations).
What can I do if I don’t like what I ordered?
We would be very disappointed if this happens, but realise that sometimes people have a change of heart and feel they have chosen the wrong colour, design or style. We cannot provide free replacement for this situation, thank you for your understanding.
Return and Cancellation Timeframe
For cancellations made after 48 hours (but before shipping), a 30% processing fee will be deducted to cover the cost of materials and labor already invested in your custom order. Due to the nature of these custom-made items, we are unable to cancel orders, nor do we offer returns or refunds, once the item has been completed or shipped. All legitimate returns will be processed within 30 days of receipt. Late returns may be denied. We urge you to inspect your item as soon as possible upon receipt.
Refund Restrictions (if applicable)
Upon receiving the returned item, we will inspect it for newness and unused condition, retaining the original labels and packaging. We will then decide at our discretion whether to offer a full refund, repair, or replacement (we will notify you of the specific processing option via email). If you meet our return conditions and provide photos of the aforementioned product defects and the shipping label, we will immediately refund the full amount of this order upon receiving and confirming the returned package. The refund will be credited to your original payment account within 3-10 business days.

- If a package is lost, we will investigate and file a claim with our partner logistics carrier.
- No refunds or reshipments will be given for packages that have already been signed for.
Alterations
Generally speaking, if you carefully consider your size and dimensions, it is unlikely that a repair will be necessary. We are happy to assist with repairs and changes to your order, but shipping and repair fees will be at your expense, so please be sure to confirm the appropriate curtain size specifications before placing your order.
Shading Rate
We offer a variety of fabrics for the lining to achieve different levels of light blocking, including privacy, blackout, full blackout, and insulation. Light blocking effectiveness varies from person to person; the term "lining light blocking rate" is not inaccurate, as its effectiveness can vary depending on the environment.
Change of Mind
Please choose and measure your items carefully as we do not accept returns due to change of mind once the order has been shipped.
Color
Color may vary from the picture due to variations in your monitor, lighting and batch colors. Please keep this in mind when ordering as we do not accept returns for color variation. Due to the fabric dye lot that naturally occurs, reasonable color differences are allowed between the sample booklets and the finished drapery.
Package Lost
If your package is lost in transit for any reason, we will contact the logistics company as soon as possible to locate it. If the carrier confirms that your package was lost in transit, we will offer you the option of a free replacement or a full refund.
Return Shipping Address
Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective. Depending on the situation, items may need to be returned to our designated warehouse. Please contact us to confirm the address before shipping.
Refund
Once you send back returned products, please email at support@argahome.com to advise us with trackable tracking number, we shall handle the refund after inspection within 3-5 days upon receipt. Refunded amount will be back to your original payment method card, and it normally takes 3-7 days to reflect on your credit card.
What if my curtains break?
Our custom curtains are created by hand to stringent standards and should withstand normal use for many years to come. In the unlikely event that your shade stops working properly, then contact us so we can help you get it fixed. If we determine that the product is faulty due to some unforeseen reason (eg. manufacturing defect), we will offer a replacement free of charge. We will request that the original shade be returned to us.
Dispute & Chargeback
Initiating a dispute is not the best option for either party. It will only waste your time. By communicating with us, we can help you resolve the issue quickly.
