If I order the same shades at a later date will the color still match?

Can I cancel or make changes to my order after it is placed?
Production will typically begin on the first business day after we receive your order. To cancel or change an order, we must be notified within one business day of the order being placed. Since your order is custom-made to your specifications, we are unable to make changes once production has begun.
Will I receive a confirmation of my order?
After placing an order online, you’ll receive an immediate order confirmation email. If you don’t receive a confirmation email right away, please check your spam folder, as some email services can mistakenly mark this email as spam. You’ll also receive updates once your order has shipped.
How can I check the status of my order?
You can check the status of your order on our order tracking page using your order number and email address. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information within 24-48 hours.
I'm waiting for swatches before I order but I don't want to miss the sale – can I still get the discount after the sale ends?
We ask that you place at least one item in your shopping cart and contact our support team to schedule your order. This will allow you to take advantage of the promotional discount while you wait for your sample to arrive. We cannot guarantee that a sample order alone will lock in your discount.

Measuring
How precisely should I measure my window?
It’s important to measure carefully so we can tailor the size for your window to fit perfectly! Use a steel tape measure and measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. For most window treatments, you’ll need to measure the width in three locations (top, center, and bottom of the window) and use the smallest width, rounded down to the nearest 1/8 inch. You’ll also typically need to measure the height in three locations (left, center, and right) and use the longest measurement. However, please follow the step-by-step measuring instructions provided with each product to get the exact size you need.
What if I make a mistake on my measurements?
We know everyone makes mistakes! Our Return and Refund Policy states that we cannot accept returns on custom curtain orders due to incorrect measurements before purchase. We encourage you to ensure the correct curtain size before placing your order. We will also adhere to your exacting production standards based on your specifications.

Curtain - Pleat Number for Rings?
Wondering how many rings your pleated curtains need? The key lies in the spacing between the pleats. At Argahome, our double and triple pleated curtains have a 5.9-inch spacing between the pleats. Simply divide the panel width by the pleat spacing, add one, and you’re set! For example, a 30-inch wide panel requires 6 rings: 30/5.9 + 1 ≈ 6. Easy!
Are curtains lined by default?
Curtains are shipped unlined by default. Lining is optional for custom orders.
The finished lining is approximately 1.25 inches shorter than the finished curtain fabric, which is the industry standard.
Please let us know if you have special requirements.
What is the difference between off-white lining and black lining?
At Argahome, we only offer high-quality triple-weave linings.
Off-white lining
Weight: 220gsm. Lining offers approximately 50% light blocking, reaching 60-70% when paired with low-light curtains and 70-99% when paired with standard blackout curtains. The ultimate light blocking and insulation performance will depend on the properties of the original fabric. Features: Privacy, insulation, energy saving, and noise reduction.
Black lining
Weight: 220gsm. Lining offers approximately 70% light blocking, reaching 80-90% when paired with low-light curtains and 95-99% when paired with standard blackout curtains. The ultimate light blocking and insulation performance will depend on the properties of the original fabric. Features: Privacy, insulation, energy saving, and noise reduction.
Curtain - Double-Width Lead in Splice-up with Sewn?
Double-width curtains are made by joining two panels of fabric together to cover larger windows. This creates a seam where the fabric joins, called a welt. This is necessary because standard rolls of fabric aren’t wide enough to reach the full width without a welt, ensuring the curtains fit seamlessly across larger windows.
If you’re unsure of the welt requirements, please contact us (support@argahome.com) for assistance with your specific measurements and fabric selection.
Curtain - Curtain Stack Width?
The stack width of a curtain is the amount of space it occupies when fully extended or pulled toward a window or doorway.
ARGAHOME’s stack width varies depending on the fabric and header, but is typically approximately 25% of the ordered width.
Curtain - Return Size for Curtains?
ARGAHOME default return size/side tuck size is 2.2 inches.
Curtain - Order Blackout Curtains?
ARGAHOME offers two options for achieving total light-blocking in your home:
Custom Blackout Lined Curtains: You can choose any of our curtains and add a blackout lining. This option allows you to enjoy the design and style of your chosen curtains while also benefiting from the blackout benefits of the lining.
100% Blackout Curtains: Our blackout curtains are made from a special fabric that effectively blocks all light, ensuring complete darkness. These curtains are self-blacking and require no additional lining for complete light-blocking. You can find them here.
Curtains - Does my order come with hooks?
Yes, pleated curtain orders come with different hooks, if you would like to replace and adjust the hooks please visit ouraccessoriessection to place your order.
Curtain - Memory Shaping/Training?
Yes, we offer curtain memory training services. Curtain memory training is an important technology designed to allow your curtains to maintain their shape and pleats neatly.
Curtains - What is the minimum width for grommet curtains?
The recommended minimum width is no less than 22 inches. The finished product with a width less than 22 inches will have poor effect.
Curtain - Ordering Width for Ripple Fold Drapery as Single Panels or Pairs?
When ordering wavy pleat curtains, you can choose to order single panels or pairs. Here’s how each option works:
Single Panel: Order a panel equal to the full width of the window track (e.g., 100 inches). The panel will be made using twice the width of fabric (200 inches).
Pair: Specify the total width of the window track, which will be divided into two equal panels (e.g., if the total width is 100 inches, you will receive two panels, each 50 inches wide). Each panel will use twice the final width of fabric (100 inches for each 50-inch panel) to create the wavy pleats.
For both options, it’s important to note that we use 200% of the finished width (or 2x the fabric width) to create the wavy pleats.
Curtain - Curtain Quantity Check?
Most of our curtains are sold by the panel; a quantity of 1 indicates one single panel.
Some curtains, such as curtains with trim, are available in pairs. Please check the quantity details on the product page for specific information.
Curtain - Adjust Pin Hooks?
Adjusting the hook is simple. To lower the hook, simply pull it down to the desired position. To raise the hook, pull it all the way down, thread it through the bottom of the opening, and reinsert it at the desired height until it fits perfectly.
Curtain - Hang Curtains in Flat Hook Header?
To hang curtains using the flat hook head, insert the flat hook evenly across the back of the curtain, ensuring it aligns with the curtain ring or track runner. Adjust the hook depth to the desired curtain height, then hang the hook over the ring or track for a sophisticated, customized effect.

Curtain - Product Care
Daily Care and Maintenance
- Regular Dusting: We recommend gently dusting your curtains weekly. Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft-bristle brush or electrostatic duster, working from top to bottom. This prevents dust and dirt from accumulating, reducing the need for deep cleaning.
- Gentle Shake: Gently shake your curtains outdoors regularly to remove surface dust and loose fibers.
Washing Instructions
- Always check the care label: This is the most critical step. The washing instructions on the label are fabric-specific.
- Machine Washable: Durable fabrics like linen, cotton, and polyester are usually machine washable. Use cold or warm water and a gentle detergent on the gentle cycle.
- Dry Clean Only: Specialty fabrics like velvet or fabrics with delicate surfaces are best handled by a professional dry cleaner to preserve their quality and prevent shrinkage.
- Hand Wash: Delicate and lightweight fabrics like tulle curtains should be hand washed to avoid damage from the washing machine’s agitator.
- Removing and Reinstalling: Be sure to remove all hooks, loops, and heavy objects before washing. After washing, rehang the curtain while it’s still slightly damp; the curtain’s own weight will help smooth out wrinkles.
Care for Specific Fabrics
- Velvet: Avoid frequent washing, as washing can damage the nap and sheen. Dust daily. If a deep clean is needed, always choose a professional dry cleaning service.
- Linen: This fabric naturally gets softer with each wash. Washing on a gentle cycle in cold water and air drying is recommended to prevent excessive shrinkage.
- Blackout Fabric: Blackout fabric is typically made of tightly woven polyester. Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water is safe, but customers should be advised to avoid using harsh detergents or bleach, as these can damage the blackout coating.
Other Important Tips
- Avoid direct sunlight: Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight can cause fabric fading and degradation. It’s recommended to use a lightweight, sheer curtain lining to filter UV rays and protect the main curtain.
- Ironing Tip: The best way to remove wrinkles is to use a steam iron while the curtain is hanging. For delicate fabrics, use a low-heat iron and an ironing cloth, or even steam iron to avoid direct steam contact with the fabric.
- Pro Tip: If you’re unsure about a fabric or have stubborn stains on your curtains, it’s best to consult a professional cleaning service rather than attempting to treat them yourself, as this could cause permanent damage.
