Please Review Before Ordering
- Minimum inside-mount depth: Cordless 2 1/5 inches; Motorized 3 1/2 inches.
- For an inside mount, order the top-rail width at the window-frame width minus 3/8 inch. For an outside mount, the top-rail width matches the ordered width.
- After delivery, install the brackets and hang the shade. Do not alter the lift mechanism on the back, as this may damage the shade or prevent it from operating correctly.
- For stronger room darkening with an outside mount, order the shade 2-4 inches wider than the window opening and allow 8-12 inches above the frame when space permits.
- Custom Roman shades are shipped closed or rolled to protect them in transit. Any light creasing will relax naturally after the shade has been hanging for a short time.
- For routine care, dust gently or wipe the fabric with a clean, soft cloth.
- Gently machine wash or dry clean when deeper cleaning is required. Do not bleach. Steam iron and air dry.

FAQ
It's very simple. First, please note that the measurement methods for built-in and external blackout curtains are different. Learn more: How to measure blackout curtains? 📏Shade Measurement Tools.
The Aesthetic Edge: While blinds are functional, Roman Shades are a design-forward investment in "architectural softness." They offer the clean, structured lines of a blind but are crafted from high-quality textiles that add warmth and texture to your room. When raised, the elegant folds create a decorative valance; when lowered, they provide a smooth, sophisticated fabric panel. It is the ultimate choice for those seeking Custom Window Treatments that feel intentional and luxurious rather than purely utilitarian.
Your choice depends on the "ambiance" of your room. Our custom Roman blinds offer three main options:
Privacy/Light-Gathering Liner: Ideal for living rooms and kitchens, this lining allows soft, diffused light into the room while ensuring complete privacy.
Darkening Liner: More effectively reduces indoor light, providing flexible control over natural light.
Blackout Liner: A must-have for bedrooms and home theaters, our blackout Roman blinds block 99% of incoming light, protecting your sleep and furniture from UV damage.
Choose the right lining to ensure your fabric Roman blinds are not only beautiful but also highly functional.
Safety First: We always prioritize family safety while also considering style and aesthetics. All our Roman blinds meet or exceed US safety standards. We offer cordless Roman blinds—the "gold standard" for child safety—with a sleek, simple design and easy operation; just a gentle pull is all it takes to open.
Recessed installation is the secret to creating that coveted "embedded" design look. Precision is crucial to achieving this. We recommend measuring the width of your window frame at the top, middle, and bottom, and taking the narrowest point. Our experienced tailors will then make precise adjustments based on this to ensure your custom Roman blinds run smoothly without rubbing against the frame. This creates a seamless, high-end finish that perfectly complements the exquisite woodwork in your home.
Gently machine wash or dry clean, machine wash up to 40 C—higher temperatures may damage fibers, leading to wear and shrinkage. Never use bleach. Steam iron and air dry.
Absolutely not. Our Roman blinds are made from premium dust-resistant fabric and are incredibly easy to maintain. Simply dust them regularly with a feather duster or use a low-power vacuum cleaner attachment to keep them looking brand new. For deep cleaning, the fabric is machine washable. Unlike heavy curtains that tend to trap dust deep within the folds, the smooth finish of custom Roman blinds makes them ideal for allergy-conscious families who prioritize a healthy home.
